A preview of our stunning St. Kilda project coming early next year! Here we were engaged in the very initial stages, prior to permit application to ensure the construction drawings reflected the best functional layout for the home and considered the suggested joinery designs. Reviewing the plans, we chose to edit a number of key areas. We revised the master ensuite by removing the suggested window for a skylight as the proposed location of window interfered with the most aesthetic location of the vanity and mirror cabinet. We also re-worked the kitchen, butlers pantry & laundry design by creating a seperate laundry room with exterior glass door access to ensure light filtration and by changing the butlers pantry design, we created a home office offering which is important in how we work today. These edits are best captured prior to permit application as changes made after submission can be very costly. We offer a service of floor plan review to our clients to ensure edits such as these are captured and revised early in the design phase.
