When we were approached to style the first flagship Build to rent development for Mirvac, let’s just say we were beyond excited! Our brief was to create a personalised and inviting aesthetic which would resonate with the target demographic and reflect an attainable design offering to the rental market. To create a home… and that’s what renting should strive to deliver also.
Mirvac offer this at LIV, Sydney Olympic Park where tenants can personalise their home without the rigour expected in the common landlord/ tenant agreements where negotiations can ensue for weeks over ‘if you can place a piece of art to the living room’….

Having rented now for over 20 years in the typical landlord/ tenant model- I have come very adept in styling and creating interiors which reflect our families personality but also are cost effective, transferrable as interchangeable noting that each home we reside in reflects varied floor plan or layout capabilities. I think I can say after 20 years I am an expert in this field…
To be able to have greater freedoms in design styling of my space is very attractive and I am delighted to see this BTR movement become a strong market model in today’s property sector.
